Emilie and Steve were married in Wakefield at Le Belvedere on Canada’s 150th Birthday. They had the most beautiful day filled with lots of love, laughter, and mixed skies that made for some pretty amazing photos. The wedding party got ready at Le Grand which made my job a little easier, since my team and I were able to grab both photo and video of the whole thing since we there was only a floor between us.
The morning was rainy and cold, but the warm sun came out for us early afternoon and we even caught a rainbow! Funny story, that when Emilie reached out to me, I had no idea she was engaged to someone I went to school with in grade 7, 8, and 9, until they both showed up to my studio for an in person meet and greet, only to both realize that we knew each other. The rest is history.
When you are lucky enough to photograph and document such beautiful people who have such beautiful souls I really enjoy the day so much more, and it leaves a special connection between myself and my clients.
It is so interesting how my clients have similar personalities, interests, and styles that I do, making it so much more fun as we both understand and trust that the other is doing what they need to do to capture every detail, every moment, for them to look back on for a lifetime.
I had such a wonderful time with Emilie and Steve and I can’t wait to document the next steps in their lives!
